​Troop 289 US and Texas Flag Lease Program

The Troop 289 US and Texas Flag Seasonal Program is an instrumental way to support your local troop while showing your patriotism during key holidays.

​Please consider participating and helping us provide a great scouting program. Funds will be used for scout programming (summer camps, training trips, monthly camping), troop specific equipment, and to help fund Eagle service projects. Each of our 3X5 flags is a high quality nylon sewn flag with embroidered stars that is made in the USA. 

​If you wish to renew your Prosper Rotary flag, please contact them - we are different programs. Consider adding a Texas flag from us to highlight your Texan pride during the appropriate holidays.

Program Details
The cost of the program is $70 annually per flag. Troop 289 will place a flag in your yard (you choose the location - generally ~ 1 foot from the curb near your sidewalk) during five holidays.  The curb will be marked for easy location of the sleeve. The flag remains the property of Troop 289 at all times.  The Troop 289 Flag Lease Program services the Prosper ISD area.

1. Texas Independence Day - March 2nd (Texas Flag only)
2. Memorial Day - First Monday in May
3. Flag Day - June 14th
4. Independence day - July 4th (US Flag only)
5. Labor/Patriots Day - First Monday in September
6. Veteran's Day - November 11th
